How to Service and Repair the Vapor Canister on 2008 Mercury Sable?

In order to service the EVAP canister, lift the car in neutral. Clean the vent solenoid connector, then unconnect the fresh air tube, fuel vapor tubes. Take out the four nuts, and put them back in at 9 Nm. Once the canister has been re-installed, perform a leak and a verification drive cycle.
