How to Service and Repair the Headlight Switch on 2009 Ford E-150?

Service and repair of the headlamp switch begins with the removal of the steering column reinforcement cover which can be easily pulled away from the instrument panel before setting it to the side. The three tabs which retain the headlamp switch can be found at positions three o'clock, six o'clock and eleven o'clock on the front aspect. The three retainers on the headlamp switch can be released by reaching underneath before pulling the switch forward through the opening. Perform the switch installation after disconnecting the electrical connector by following the uninstallation steps in reverse order.
