  A: Starting your service of the headlamp switch requires you to disconnect the battery. The knob needs to be positioned at HEAD while you detach the clip with a small screwdriver and release the knob to remove it. Before continuing turn the bezel of the headlamp switch in a counterclockwise direction to extract it. Motor vehicles with tilt column steering should position the Steering Wheel in its lowest possible position. Before working with vehicles that have a column shift you should engage the parking brake and place the shift lever in its lowest position. Start by removing the audio unit followed by the removal of the two screws resting above the instrument cluster. The instrument panel finish panel must be pulled backward to expose the clips while disconnecting the Cigarette Lighter and power point electronic connectors.
