How to remove and replace the rear 60 percent seat cushion on 2009 Ford Edge?

Before starting the rear 60 percent seat cushion replacement process you must first remove the 60 percent seat. Process the two electrical connectors from heater mats during separation from the backrest assembly. Remove the covers of the outboard cushion frame pivot bracket by unlatching the tabs after which you can follow by taking out the inboard cushion frame pivot bracket cover through its release tab. The next step is to detach the cushion assembly by removing the two pivot bracket bolts and to tighten these bolts during assembly to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). The completion of this process requires carrying out the reverse order of installation steps.
