How to service the power mirror actuator on 2009 Ford Escape?

The steps to removing the exterior mirror glass are the first steps to servicing the power mirror motor. Then unscrew the exterior mirror motor and wire out the three tabs with a flat tool. Once the motor is removed, clean the electrical connector. Installation of new motor needs only a reverse of the steps followed during the removal.
