How to service and repair the harmonic balancer and crankshaft pulley on 2009 Ford Explorer?

In order to service the harmonic balancer and crank shaft pulley, raise up the vehicle and take out the fan shroud and accessory drive belt. Hold onto the crankshaft pulley with a Strap Wrench and take off the torque-to-yield bolt. Install the new pulley using a Crankshaft Vibration Damper Installer and screwing the bolt in two steps. Install the shroud and the belt again.
