How to service and repair the coil springs on F-250 and F-350 on 2009 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

The coil spring servicing process starts with tire removal for F-250 as well as F-350 trucks. A proper jack should be used to support the front axle assembly. Detach the shock absorber by taking out the lower nut with washer before discarding the nut while installe another nut with 80 Nm (59 lb-ft) torque. Proceed with the removal of spring bracket bolt and bracket while tossing out the bolt to tighten a fresh bolt to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft) after installation. Lower the front axle until the upper spring seat becomes empty. Insert an extension through the spring top before discarding the lower nut then install a new nut tightness at 200 Nm (148 lb-ft) during assembly. The next step requires removing both the spring lower retainer and the spring so they can be discarded. You should check both upper and lower insulators before deciding whether to replace them. The installation finishes by reversing all steps during reverse-order removal. Suspension fasteners require replacement only with parts of identical numbers or equivalent options with exact torque specifications for correct retention.
