How to service and repair the harmonic balancer and crankshaft pulley on 2009 Ford Flex?

In order to service the harmonic balancer and crankshaft pulley, raise the vehicle in neutral. Take away accessory and power steering belt. Removal of the crankshaft bolt should be done using a strap wrench after which 3 jaw puller should be used to remove the pulley. Apply lubrication to seals, fit the pulley and screw in the bolt in phases. Reinstall the belts.
