How to service and repair the steering angle sensor on 2009 Ford Flex?

In order to fix the steering angle sensor, withdraw the steering column shrouds and disconnect the electrical connector of the sensor. Unscrew the two securing bolts, screw in the new sensor following the steps in reverse order and then drive the vehicle around tight circles and calibrate the sensor.
