  A: Services start by following wheel removal and tire detachment and using a suitable jackstand directly under the lower arm to lift the suspension system. The procedure for AWD vehicles requires you to first remove the bolt before unclipping both retainers and placing the wheel speed sensor aside. The service begins with removing the brake hose bracket bolt followed by discarding the upper arm outboard bolt and nut. After setting down the jackstand from the lower arm position the stand below the subframe. It is necessary to lower the subframe to remove the upper arm inboard bolt thus you should discard the two subframe bushing brace bolts and unfasten the subframe forward nut. Lower the jackstand slowly while the rear springs decompress and then remove the subframe rearward nut before you can take out the upper arm inboard bolt and nut to detach the upper arm.
