How to Service and Repair the Ride Height Sensor on 2009 Mercury Grand Marquis?

Begin servicing and repairing the suspension height sensor by installing the vehicle on a hoist set to NEUTRAL position. Detach the electrical connector along with the connecting link of the suspension height sensor. Detach the two bolts that secure the height sensor bracket before removing the sensor. The installation of a new sensor should begin by tightening the bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) and then follow the removal process in reverse order.
