How to Remove and Replace Coil Springs in the Front Suspension of a Rear-Wheel Drive on 2009 Mercury Mountaineer?

In the rear-wheel drive type of vehicle, to change the front coil spring, measure the distance between the hub and the fender, loosen the upper mount nuts of the shock absorber, the wheel, and the tire. Take out the stabilizer bar link, the shock absorber and lower control arm. Fit in the new assembly and tighten all components and check alignment.
