Shocking absorbers and springs should be removed first before servicing the coil spring of the rear suspension. The shock absorber requires a proper spring compressor to relax its tension before installation. Hold the washer flats and remove the nut before disposal then install the new nut tightly to 56 Nm (41 ft. lbs.). Start by taking off the shock absorber before removing the washer then the upper shock absorber mount. Finally, remove the coil spring. The assembly process should begin with the reverse disassembly steps while using new shock absorber-to-upper mount nuts.
