You must put the vehicle in neutral position then hoist it before starting crossmember 1B service and repair work. Start the servicing process by taking out 4 crossmember bolts together with 4 crossmember nuts. The removal procedure starts by uninstalling the crossmember 1B. The installation process requires following the reverse steps of removal along with tightening the bolts to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).
