How to service and repair a brake caliper on Ford Contour?

In order to service the brake caliper, loosen the wheel nuts, lift up the vehicle and take away the wheel. Disassemble the caliper, loosen the brake hose union and strip off the pads. Once the hose has been capped, disconnect the caliper. To install, withdraw the piston, attach the hose, replace the caliper and wheel and bleed the brakes.
