How to service the ignition coil-on-plug on Ford Crown Victoria?

Initial service of the ignition coil-on-plug requires disconnecting the negative battery cable first. The initial step requires the removal of the air cleaner outlet pipe followed by electrical connector removal from the ignition coil-on-plug. After unscrewing the bolt securing the ignition coil-on-plug you can remove both it and the coil-on-plug. Reinstall the equipment in the opposite order used during disinstallation.
