Firstly, to service and repair the air deflector on either side, you should firstly remove the radiator grille opening panel reinforcement (8A284). Next, take away the radiator deflector on the left or right by prying out the four pushpins on the radiator support. Install the deflector again by undoing the steps.

Be sure to repair the upper air deflector by raising the hood using tool 16612.Then, take off the air cleaner assembly, and the A/C condenser air deflector (part 19E672). Then remove the pushpins of radiator air deflector. Lastly, restore all the parts by following the steps of un-installing them in reverse.
