How to service and repair the throttle cable and linkage on Ford E-150?

Removing the throttle cable To remove the throttle cable, get a hold of the accelerator pedal and pull the cable out of the pedal and shaft. Disassemble the Air Cleaner and splash shield, and take the cable off of the bulkhead and throttle body. Lastly, take it off the bracket. Installation Reverse the procedures, with a new retaining clip.
