To maintain the dome lamp, the interior lamp lens of the assembly has to be removed in cars with a headliner, and then the clips have to be released and the electrical connector removed. In the case of a car where there is no headliner, just unscrew the lamp and unhook the connector. Installation reversed by reversing the steps of removing.
