A counter-clockwise rotation is needed with the right-hand threaded clutch assembly nut before removal can occur. Users should detach the fan and Fan Clutch from the water pump pulley and remove its bolts to lift the fan shroud, fan and fan clutch off the vehicle. Begin by lifting the vehicle and proceeding to remove the splash shield from beneath if installed before extracting the radiator hose at the bottom. Pull away the clamps while they are compressed and detach the transmission oil cooler hoses that run to the radiator through twisting motions. Start by lowering the vehicle and unfasten the bolts which secure the support brackets to the radiator support. Then lift the brackets towards the ceiling before moving them away from the radiator.
