Apply penetrating and lock lubricant on the HO2S to help you remove it. Use the Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor Socket to detach the HO2S from its installation point. The HO2S installation requires an initial application of high temperature nickel anti-seize lubricant on its threads before installation begins. Set the torque wrench properly then use the Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor Socket to tighten the HO2S to 46 Nm (34 lb-ft) torque value. Reattach the electrical connector before placing back the engine cover after securement of the HO2S.
