In order to fix Mkx automatic transmission shift levers, open the trim ring and center console cover. Pull off the shift lever electrical connector and cable and take off shift lever bolts. Install the shift lever again, the cable, and position it so that it matches the manual control lever. Check the correct operation in Park, Neutral and Reverse.
