Twist the three thermostat housing bolts from their position before you tighten them to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs) during reinstallation. You should take care to avoid pulling the coolant tube away from the engine block when breaking apart the thermostat housing because you need to smoothly detach it from the tube before removing the housing. Both old and new O-ring seals get discarded when replacing them and the installer should apply fresh engine coolant to the new seals before installation. The thermal system needs to be filled and the bleeding operation needs to be performed to finish the installation.
