To service the brake caliper, take it out and empty the brake fluid. Removal of pistons is done under low air pressure and seals and boots are discarded. Change leaking seals or change the whole caliper which can be corroded. Use DOT 3 brake fluid to lubricate with, replace seals and boots and reassemble the caliper carefully.

In order to drain off brake caliper, put a rubber drain tube into the bleeder screw and place it into clean brake fluid. You should loosen the screw and have an assistant press the brake pedal as you loosen it. Continue until clear fluid comes through and then refill the reservoir and attach the screw to the desired torque.
