How to service the Fuel Door cup bezel on Ford Expedition?

The fuel filler door cup bezel features single-use design so its removal will permanently damage the part. Handling the bezel's lower edges should be avoided because this action leads to vehicle damaging. The service requires using a non-marring tool to gently break the clip at the upper right corner of the fuel filler cup bezel before performing the same action at the upper left corner. After releasing both clips you should carefully pull the bezel both upward and outward to detach it. To prevent damage, position the fuel filler door cup bezel right into the alignment slots while keeping it aligned with the filler neck. Push on the bezel in a downward direction while pushing it toward the inside until both clips securely engage.
