  Start the repair process for timing covers by putting the vehicle on a hoist set to neutral mode. Both RH and LH valve covers need removal followed by removal of the engine cooling fan. Detach the four coolant pump pulley bolts before you spin the tensioner clockwise to take off the accessory Drive Belt. The technician should first drain all engine oil while removing the bolts securing the coolant pump pulley. Thoroughly detach the lower cooling Fan Shroud by first popping out the pushpin and spinning the position retaining tab. The CKP sensor electrical connector must be reconnected before installing both the starter wiring harness support bracket and transmission cooler tube support bracket. Secure the nut at 10 Nm (89 lb-in). Apply engine oil to the engine front cover and inner seal of the crankshaft front seal before installing a new front crankshaft seal with the correct installers. Use silicone gasket and sealant on the Woodruff key slot of the crankshaft pulley before installing the pulley along with its new bolt that requires a four-step tightening process starting at 90 Nm (66 lb-ft) and followed by loosening 360 degrees, tightening to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft) before adding an additional 90 degrees of torque. Mount the accessory drive belt tensioner first then install its three bolts before tightening them to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft), proceed by mounting and tightening the three accessory drive idler pulleys with their bolts. Next position the coolant pump pulley then install its four bolts lightly before executing a downward movement of the lower cooling fan shroud followed by pushpin installation. You should tighten each of the four skid plate bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). The power steering pump installation requires attaching the stud bolt and two bolts which need torque to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) while the engine wiring harness should be connected to the power steering pump stud bolt. Fasten the power steering pressure hose support bracket to its position while tightening the support nut to 10 Nm (89 lb-in). You should first apply engine oil to the O-ring seal before installing the RH CMP sensor and its bolt. Use a torque of 10 Nm (89 lb-in) during installation and then attach the RH CMP sensor electrical connector. Follow these steps to install the LH radio ignition interference capacitor with its nut - tighten it to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). Then apply oil to the O-ring seal before installing and securing the LH CMP sensor with 10 Nm (89 lb-in) torque while reattaching its electrical connector. Reinstall the RH radio ignition interference capacitor and its nut while ensuring a proper torque of 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). With the tensioner rotated clockwise you can install the accessory drive belt. Reinstall the engine cooling fan before the LH and RH valve covers while also torqueing the four coolant pump pulley bolts to a torque of 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). Clear engine oil goes into the crankcase before conducting the misfire monitor neutral profile correction through the scan tool according to the displayed instructions.
