Begin the service of engine oil dip stick by taking out the LH exhaust manifold. Loosen the oil level indicator and tube bolt then remove both items before securely reinstating the bolt with 10 Nm torque (89 lb-in) tension. Discard the O-ring seal when you carefully take the oil level indicator and tube out from the cylinder block. The new oil level indicator tube requires cleaning engine oil to lubricate its O-ring seal before installation. Finish the installation process by first reversing all steps of removal while carefully installing the new O-ring seal.
