The side shield should be detached carefully from the seat cushion frame because damaging the tabs is possible. The service begins with disconnecting the power lumbar switch electrical connector before removing the power lumbar hose from the switch and then disconnecting the heated seat switch electrical connector. The heated seat switch can be extracted from the seat side shield by pinching the retainer tabs along with pushing it upward.
