How to service the suction A/C accumulator on Ford Explorer Sport Trac?

In order to service the suction accumulator, disconnect battery, recover refrigerant and disassemble the air cleaner assembly. Unscrew the servo of the speed control and the coolant expansion tank. DE-Assemble A/C cycling switch and refrigerant lines and take out accumulator. Repeat the procedure to install, fill the refrigerant oil, and charge the A/C system.
