  A: Service of the suction accumulator requires starting by disconnecting the ground cable from the battery and recovering the refrigerant from the system. The speed control servo must be detached after you remove the air cleaner assembly and disconnect the electrical connector and the bolt. Position the servo aside for service. The first step involves setting the coolant expansion tank/windshield Washer Reservoir to the side after unscrewing and unnutting it. The A/C cycling switch electrical connector requires disconnection but a back up tool protects the tubes as the technician works on the suction accumulator/drier refrigerant lines. The suction accumulator/drier requires removal of its two screws for separation. Reverse the process during installation by applying the A/C cycling switch to the new suction accumulator/drier if required and follow proper procedures for refrigerant oil addition.
