The service and repair of the cabin temperature sensor and ambient temperature sensor in the Mountaineer requires the removal of the radiator grille first. Initially detach the pin-type retainers from the system before placing the air deflector at the front position. The air deflector removal requires detachment from its two radiator support locator pins after removing both pin-type retainers. The first step for every vehicle requires disconnecting the electrical connector from the ambient temperature sensor and removing the sensor itself. Reverse the steps of removal in order to finish the installation procedure.
