    A: The first step to service the satellite radio antenna cable requires the removal of the Audio Control Module (ACM). The upper satellite radio antenna cable exists as the sole antenna in vehicles without navigation systems but vehicles with navigation require both cables that need end-cutting followed by tape application to minimize NVH concerns. The replacement cable requires installation over the electrical harness where it needs to be properly fixed in place. First disconnect the satellite antenna electrical connector after removing the right-hand A-pillar trim panel. Lower the glove compartment to its lowest position until the connection becomes accessible before disconnecting the satellite radio antenna cables from the SDARS module when your vehicle lacks navigation or from the lower cable when navigation is present. The removal of the satellite radio antenna cable should be followed by performing the installation process in reverse order.
