How to service and repair the Rear Crossmember and Front Cross-Member for transmission support on Ford Explorer Sport Trac?

When attempting to service the transmission support crossmember, place the vehicle in neutral on a hoist. Take out the bolts of the transfer case skid plate and the heat shield and bear the transmission. Take out the transmission mount nuts, crossmember bolts and they should be tightened to given torque when they are fitted back. Lastly, undo the installation process.
