Service of the radiator grille starts by pulling off the front bumper cover from the Explorer and Explorer Sport Trac vehicles. First you need to remove the two screws from the grille-to-bumper cover before you detach the front bumper isolator and absorber by unfastening two pushpins and two nuts. Detach the grille assembly from the bumper cover by removing first the four scrivets followed by careful unclipping of the fourteen clips. Installation of the grille happens by performing the opposite steps used for removal.
