A separate service of the fuel tank filler pipe hose can be performed independently by releasing its clamp at the fuel tank so you can disconnect and remove it from the vehicle. When reinstalling the hose keep its clamp tension at 3 Nm (27 lb-in). To begin the task open the fuel tank filler cap while also removing its upper retaining piece. First disconnect the air vent tube which has two depressible tabs located in the fuel door pocket. Secure the three bolts with 9 lb-in torque when you reinstall them.
