How to service and repair the oil pan on Ford Explorer Sport Trac?

In repairing the oil pan just hoist the vehicle and empty the engine oil. Take out the bolts of the oil pan and get rid of the old gasket. Install new gasket and tighten bolts to 11 Nm. Use a plastic tool to clean the surfaces and repeat the process and fill them with clean engine oil.
