How to Service and Repair the Tailgate Handle on Ford Explorer Sport Trac?

Removal of screws and pin retainers will be needed to remove the trim panel so that the tailgate handle can be serviced. Disconnect latch - by opening the clips this opens the actuating rods to remote control. Open latch remote control by removing nuts and extract handle and transfer required parts. Un-uninstall by undoing these steps.
