How to service the front headlight bulb on Ford F-150?

The first task when servicing the headlamp bulb is to disconnect the battery ground cable. The first step removes the headlamp assembly after raising the headlamp retainers through rearward push and upward pull followed by disconnecting the headlamp electrical connector. After removing the assembly you should turn the headlamp bulb retainer counter-clockwise to detach it followed by removing the headlamp bulb. Handle the new bulb by its base only when installing it while making sure the headlamp assembly fits accurately into the alignment pins on the headlamp reinforcement. Follow the removal steps backwards for installation. Additionally adjust the headlamp to the required positions after completion.
