How to service the front headlight bulb on Ford F-150?

Servicing headlamp bulb will require unconnection of battery ground cable, headlamp assembly, and disconnection of the electrical connector. To remove the bulb, turn the bulb retainer anti-clockwise. Install the new bulb by its base and place the assembly in place and undo the steps to remove it in order to install it.

How to Safely and Correctly Service the Headlight Bulb on Ford F-150?

When changing the bulb in the headlamp, do not break it but hold it by the base. To avoid contamination, remove the bulb prior to replacing it with a new one. To take out the headlamp assembly, first rotate the bulb counterclockwise then take it out. The new bulb is fitted in the same order except that during replacement, power should not be on.
