During the service of vehicles equipped with a 5.4L engine it becomes necessary to disconnect both the engine breather hose and the idle air control (IAC) valve hose for separate handling. The service bracket for differential pressure feedback exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system on 5.4L vehicles should have its nut and bolt removed for positioning the bracket in an appropriate location. The TP sensor electrical connector needs removal before eliminating the bolts fastening the sensor to its position. The new sensor installation requires the opposite steps from removal procedure execution.
