Service and repair operations on the turn signal switch start with removing the steering wheel. The first step is to uninstall the lower steering column shroud screw followed by applying a pulling motion to the seams of both shroud covers which will extract the lower shroud. Remove the two screws from the upper steering column shroud before moving on to remove the shroud from its position. You should remove the screw followed by tab release before placing the multi-function switch in position. Detach the electrical connector from the multi-function switch and proceed with taking out the switch. The installation process should be completed by performing the opposite actions used during removal.
