How to service and repair the voltage regulator on Ford F-150?

To maintain the voltage regulator, take off the generator and brush and terminal holder. Press the brushes, fit a wire to hold the brushes, and fit the brush holder and voltage regulator. Screw it down, take the wire out and reconnect the generator.
