The time starts with a removal sequence of the interior items including cowl panel grille and A-pillar trim panels and interior mirror, overhead console and
Sun Visors. The front section of the headliner should be lowered partially while a suitable supportive material must be placed underneath it. Use glass cleaner to clean the urethane adhesive's edge formation between the glass and existing urethane seal at both upper and side inner glass parts as well as lower exterior glass. A high-ratio electric or battery-operated caulk gun with properly prepared urethane adhesive applicator tip enables smooth application of adhesive into continuous beads across all gaps. Place the urethane adhesive on top of the original adhesive and spread it across the inside edges of windshield glass at the top and sides and extend it downwards from outside. The urethane adhesive needs to cure for at least one hour until an air or water leak test is performed with potential extra adhesive application required. Raise the headliner and put back the sun visors as well as the overhead console before reinstalling A-pillar trim panels and interior mirror and cowl panel grille. Glass cleaner should be used to clean all exterior and interior parts of the windshield glass.
