How to Service the Throttle Position Sensor on Ford F-350 Super Duty?

The first step for servicing the throttle position (TP) sensor requires disconnecting its electrical connector. The first step before applying a suitable high-speed driver is using a hand tool to loosen TP sensor screws by 1-2 full turns to prevent screw damage. Discard the TP sensor by moving the electrical connector out first and then removing its two screws. New TP sensor and screws should be utilized for installation because using old components is forbidden. You should position the radial locator tab of the sensor to match the radial locator hole found on the throttle body during sensor replacement. The new sensor needs to be positioned before being fastened by using two new screws that require a torque specification of 3 Nm (27 lb-in). Reconnect the TP sensor electrical connector as the last step.
