How to service the knock sensor (KS) on Ford F-350 Super Duty?

Start service of the knock sensor by taking out the intake manifold. The first step must involve disconnecting the electrical connector from the knock sensor. Detach the two bolts from the knock sensor as the next step before you remove the sensor itself. The sensor installation requires tight screwing to 20 Nm torque (15 lb-ft) followed by reversing all steps of removal to finish the installation.
