How to Service the Oil Pressure Switch on Ford Flex?

All service work on the Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) switch should begin by securely hoisting the vehicle into NEUTRAL position. Separate the EOP switch electrical connector before extracting the switch from its position. The installation of the new EOP switch requires thread sealant with PTFE that should be tightened to 18 Nm (159 lb-in). The service procedure ends by following all steps in reverse order when completing the installation.
