In order to service the engine mount, visually inspect the alignment of powertrain/drivetrain mounts. Loose the rear support insulator and mounts and then hold the powertrain/drivetrain to position the mounts. Fix the fixings to the powertrain/drivetrain and then the body side fixings, and lastly the rear support insulator.

How to service and repair the lower engine mount on Ford Focus?

Place the car on a hoist leaving the transmission at neutral. Loose the lower motor mount by unscrewing the two bolts of the motor mount before unscrewing the motor mount. Installation To install, re-install the lower motor mount and then the motor mount, and fasten them back by reinserting the two bolts.
