The 4F27E transmission service requires the transaxle support insulator to start by placing the vehicle in NEUTRAL position on a hoist. Begin by removing the two bolts and the nut before using engine rotation to move the engine bottom far enough to pull out the roll restrictor from the subframe. Use caution when installing the new roll restrictor since the bolts possess different lengths because using the extended bolt to fasten the roll restrictor to the subframe might harm the steering rack. Place the roll restrictor into position then loosely connect the roll restrictor-to-subframe bolt before using the roll restrictor-to-transaxle bracket bolt. Fasten both roll restrictor bolts to 70 Nm torque (52 lb-ft).
