How to Service and Repair the Vapor Canister on Ford Focus?

In order to replace the evaporative emission control canister, unplug the battery ground cable. In neutral position, disconnect evap vent solenoid and vapor tube. Take the canister out, put the new canister in by following the reverse procedure and perform a leak test and verification drive cycle to check functionality.
