Service and maintenance of the front lower control arm begins by placing the vehicle in neutral position on a hoist. The inboard front lower arm bolt must be discarded and replaced with a new equivalent part before securing it with 115 Nm (85 ft. lbs.) torque values. The front lower arm has a front label to support proper installation. Proceed by removing and discarding the front lower arm outboard bolt followed by taking out the arm itself before replacing both parts with new ones then tightening the outboard bolt to 115 Nm (85 ft. lbs.). Fitting new lower arm bolts requires performing the torque procedure at suspension level height.
