How to service and repair the front lower control arm on Ford Focus?

In order to service the front lower control arm, put the vehicle on a hoist in neutral. Record front markings and position of arm to be reinstalled. Take out and install the new arm. Install last tightening of rear suspension at or about curb-height position.

How to service and repair the front control arm on Ford Focus?

In order to fix front control arm, loosen the wheel nuts, lift the vehicle and remove the wheel. Cover the ball joint seal, and then take out the lower arm ball joint and bolts. Installation of new bolts and tightening of same would be in sequence and with the correct torque. Lastly, fit the heat shield and lower arm ball joint.
