How to Service the Camshaft Position Sensor on Ford Fusion?

The CMP sensor service requires disconnecting the battery cable and electrical connector before removing the CMP sensor. The CMP sensor requires removal of its securing bolt. Then remove the sensor from its position. Before installing the CMP O-ring seal, apply clean engine oil on it and follow the removal steps in reverse order while tightening the bolt to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
