Service of the rear quarter window motor starts with removing the rear quarter window glass first. First disconnect and then remove the two bolts holding the rear quarter window inner belt weather strip before reattaching it tight at 9 Nm torque (80 lb-in). Remove the connector from the rear quarter window motor and extract the harness locator from the regulator-motor combination of the rear quarter window assembly. Deal with caution around jack screws before dismounting the three nuts from the rear quarter window regulator assembly and motor holder unit until torque reaches 10 Nm (89 lb-in) when reinstalling. To end the installation process apply the opposite sequence of removal methods.
